Praycation - DAY SIX

We work hard to guard our most precious possessions from our tangible treasures to the people we care about deeply. We take considerable effort and time to keep valuable things from being stolen, lost or mistreated. Banks, safety deposit boxes, locks, and alarm systems of all kinds are used to protect our valuables.

Yet we leave our hearts unprotected. The writer of Proverbs reminds us that our hearts are valuable too. Our thoughts, words and deeds flow from our hearts.
Our hearts are the place where our hopes and dreams live. It is the source of our desires and passions. Just like a river or wellspring, it can be poisoned and polluted. One of the best ways to guard your heart is through prayer.

“Above all else, guard your heart.”
Proverbs 4:23
Let Us Pray:
Lord, put a watch over my heart to protect it and show me how to guard it from an enemy that seeks to disrupt, disappoint and destroy.

PRAISE REPORT
Several churches initiated yesterday or are starting today  seven days of  intensive prayer.  The pastors have called their members to prayer at the church at 6 AM and others a 6 PM. This is a mighty move of God. Look out for miracles, healing, deliverance and more. If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray.....
Share  your prayer experiences and praise reports in the comment section on this site. Remember the steps of Praycation: Silence, Solitude, Submission, Service and Selah. Details of the steps are found in the archives on August 1, 2012. Share Praycation with others and invite them to take this 31-day journey. If you're just starting, go to DAY ONE and catch up!
