Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know everything I do; from far away you understand all my thoughts. You see me, know all my actions. Even before I speak, you already know what I will say.
You are all around me on every side; you protect me with your power. Psalm 139: 1-5
In the name of Jesus, help me to take full advantage of the good and perfect gifts you have bestowed upon me and by your power strengthen my weaknesses. With your help, discouragement and temporary setbacks will not overtake me. Lift my eyes to the horizon to see victory waiting in the wings. Amen.

I read this same scripture at my mother's celebration of life in November 2009. How true that God knows everything about us and what our purpose is in life. I read this Psalm periodically for encouragement and to reflect on what God wants for me. HE IS ABLE!
