O Lord, anchor us again today in remembering that you can hold us secure on the restless seas of time. Help us to stand fast in you to declare that you are gracious, kind and slow to anger. Forgive us when we have wavered or withered in the face of change and challenge.
Help us to honor you in our thoughts, word and deeds. Help us to live honorable lives before the next generation that they may see you in us, hear you in our testimonies and seek your steadfast love.
