Diagnostic Tests

DAY ELEVAN

Praycation helps us today to admit our blind spots. All of have blind spots and unless we deal with them they can lead to a breakdown. In Psalm 139, David asked God to search him for any sin of omission or commission to allow God to run a diagnostic check on his heart and mind. When we allow the Lord to do a thorough examination of our motives, perspectives and shortcomings then we are able to grow up in all aspects in to Him who is the head, even Christ writes Paul Fritz.

When the engine light of your car comes on, you know to take it immediately to the mechanic to check it out. If you wait too long, what would have been a minor adjustment could end up in a major repair bill. Don’t put it off any longer. Today is a good day to go in for a check up.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.”

Psalm 139:23

Lord, when you find that I’m too well pleased with myself or when my dreams have come true because I have dreamed too little, disturb me.

Today use the prayer breathing exercise along with the daily Praycation Scripture. Repeat the Word first and then exhale, Lord, I need you; inhale, Lord I receive you. It’s a great way to keep God’s Word in your heart and mind.
