We Will Stand

Dear God,

Today we put on the whole armor of God – the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness and the belt of truth. Your word will guide our feet today and the shield of faith will protect us from the fiery darts of the enemy.

After we have done all that is required, we will stand. We will stand still to see the salvation of the Lord. We will stand because you will not suffer our foot to be moved. We will stand in your power and might. We will stand in the confession of our faith. We will stand in your everlasting love that covers a multitude of sins and whose perfection casts out all fear. In Jesus name, Amen.
