Let us Pray together:

Early we seek you this morning to pause in your presence; to breath out impurities and breath in whatsoever is kind, good, and lovely, to think on these things before the intrusion of whatsoever is deep, dark and real.

Strengthen us for the journey ahead; equip us to stand before our adversaries as we humble ourselves before you.

Lift us up to live the abundant life you came to give us so we may lift others, the lonely, least and left out. May we all today see a vision beyond what our eyes can see to what is promised in Your word.

In the name recognized in heaven, earth and hell, Amen.

Remember your breathing prayers. Do this first thing in the morning before your regular devotion or anytime during the day. When we are under stress we do not breathe deeply. Try it today!

Exhale, Lord I need you. Inhale, Lord I receive you. Exhale, I release all toxic thoughts. Inhale, I receive whatsoever is pure, wise and good.

Walk With Me Lord

Lord, help me to live this day with a sense of Your presence with me.
Let that sense of Your presence order my steps, guide my feet,
Bridle my tongue, regulate my mind in quiet, idle moments,
And direct my interaction with others.

When You are present with me, choices are clearer,
Spirits are more easily discerned,
The gifts of others are more easily recognized and affirmed,
And Truths that I speak are tempered with love,

O God, we open ourselves with great anticipation to the experiences of a brand new day. Create in us a clean heart, renew a right spirit and a boldness that keeps us lifting the name of Jesus in the world.

Strengthen our conviction to incorporate your teachings about love, grace, and service into our lives. Thank you for creating channels of service in the marketplace and around the dinner table.

May we dance in your presence embracing a love so divine. In the name of whose way we follow and in whose name we pray, Amen.

Dear God,
I cannot begin this day without spending time in your presence. I cannot rush to be with you and then quickly move away. I cannot come to the prayer place and not be ready to encounter you. I command my spirit to receive what you will give to me. Amen

Search, Know and Love

O God,
Search me, know me and love me. I turn my face to the wall to commune with You. Satisfy me with your steadfast love that I may rejoice and be glad all my days.

Come gently to my secret places where my intimate self dwells. Give me the confidence to lower the barriers carefully constructed to protect me from intrusion. Gaze upon the passionate landscape of my interior life; tend to my weary soul, renew my mind with your words and refresh my spirit with your presence.

Lead me to that place where my ears hear your voice more clearly; where my heart composes new songs; where my voice gathers the strength it needs to sing; where my mind finds the rest it needs from the jangling discords of life; where my eyes see you everywhere in everything and in everyone.

O God,
Search me, know me and love me. I turn my face to the wall to commune with You. In communion with you help me to celebrate the divine gift of Being

Being alive
