A Love Demonstration

“And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for slain offering, a sacrifice and us to God a sweet fragrance. Ephesians 5:2

God of grace and God of Glory, thank you for loving us with an everlasting love.

Purge us and cleanse us of all sin and wrongdoing; we confess and you are faithful to forgive us of our sins. Thank you.

Cause us to live so close to you that others will notice that we have been with you.

Open our hearts so we may stand for and with those who are in need. Guide us to love one another and bear one another’s burdens.

Bless where there is pain of any kind or illness, brokenness, anxious hearts and unresolved issues.

Help us to show your love in thought, word and deed today not just to those we love but even to those who do not have our best interest at heart. It doesn’t mean Lord, that we become their doormat, it means we love you and ourselves too much to stoop to their level.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 75

I yearn to know You, O Beloved, to abide in the Peace of Love; I choose to turn from the ways of the world, where ego separates and divides.

“At the set time which I appoint, I will judge with equity. When the earth totters with all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady the axis.”

I say to the powerful, “Lead with justice and mercy.” And to the greedy, “Share your abundance with those in need. Le no one see your acts of mercy or know your works of charity.”

Pray a Psalm

June is Pray a Psalm month. Go through the book of Psalms until you find one that speaks to your heart. Pray it unto the Lord throughout the day. Let me know in the comment section which ones touched you the most.

Then Sing My Soul

I extol thee O God and praise shall continually flow from my mouth in all seasons. There are times when I sing with the psalmist "My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?" Yet I must also sing "you have kept me from my mother's womb." Help me today to know that my circumstances do not determine your goodness. You are fully present in my circumstances and I have hope that the grace I experienced yesterday has prepared me for your brand new mercies today.

I set aside moans and complaints and replace them with praise and thanksgiving. Bring me to a place where like Paul, no matter whatever state I'm in contentment calls my name.

Go with me now through this day. I thrive in your ordering of my steps. In Jesus name, Amen.

Another Day!

Let us pray together:

Eternal God, creator of all things, thank you for allowing me to see another day. Somebody was not able to wake up this morning, but you saw fit to give me the activity of my body and to touch me with your finger of love. Thank you.

God I understand that it is not because I have been so good, but because of your grace and loving mercy that you have allowed me to see another day. Thank you.

Bless this day and all that takes place in it. Bless my going out and my coming in. Please put a shield of protection around me from all hurt, harm, or danger, in the name of Jesus. Thank you for being the God above—and over—all things. Keep me by your power.

In The Mighty Name Of Jesus!

Thank God and Amen!
