Psalm 131

Most gracious Presence, let me not be arrogant, nor boastful of my virtuous deeds; Let me not seek fame or set my heart on the riches of the world. Help me to calm and quiet my soul, like a child quieted at its mother’s breast; like a child that is quieted, be so my soul.

I shall be at peace in You, O Breath of my breath, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.

PRAY A PSALM

Open your Bible. Go to the Book of Psalms. Pick one that speaks to your heart and pray it. Make it personal. It is your song sung to the Lord in prayer.

  1. Love the Book of Psalms...these are like "ready" prayers to the Lord in any state we may be in. Isn't just awesome how He (the Lord) already knows what we will need before we need it?
